Week of October 25

Halloween is always a fun time at Seabury.  We had a great parade, followed by pictures and a party.  During our party, the students participated in a game of Halloween trivia.  There were some interesting questions, some of which the students actually knew the answer!  For instance, what fruit or vegetable was originally carved on Halloween?  Ask your child if they remember the answer!  Did you know that the orange on Halloween signifies strength?  Ireland is where Halloween originated and the Snickers bar is the most popular Halloween candy!  We had lots of great costumes!  Here are some pictures from the day.

Mr. Bones even got into the Halloween spirit!

On Friday, we did so well getting our spelling test done that we were given a few minutes of free time.  These students built a tower that was taller than them!

We were cordially invited to come help and play with the Ladybugs and Bumblebees on Friday afternoon.  The 3rd graders loved playing in their room.
