Sound of Music

The Innovators got to have a special field trip to see The Sound of Music at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle. They had eighth row seats so were up close to the action. What a cool holiday treat!

Thank you everyone for supporting our trip to Cape Disappointment through our wreath sale. The kids worked hard sorting and filling orders so that the holidays are a little brighter.

Photography

Photography was invented right before the American Civil War making the war the first to be well documented. As we integrate art and social studies the Innovators learned more about the invention of photography, Civil War photographs and also photo techniques, including manipulating photos in GIMP.
